Day 1 Toulouse

Today explore Toulouse, nicknamed “the Pink City”: the St Sernin, still a very important stop on the pilgrimage path to Santiago de Compostela, the Jacobins church and the Garonne river shores. Enjoy a shopping tour along the streets to discover typical local produces such as Violets of Toulouse and woad.
A delicious cassoulet dish in a restaurant of Toulouse old centre awaits you for dinner.
Overnight in Toulouse city center.

In the morning coach drive toward Rocamadour. First visit of the day dedicated to the famous Rocamadour cheese. Visit a goat cheese production farm, discover the production step by step before enjoying a delicious tasting of the farm products.
A picnic is included for lunch at the shade of old oak trees: Rocamadour cheeses, local cold meats, Rocamadour wine and bread and the local walnuts pie….
All organics and local farms products.
 
In the afternoon, visit this important pilgrimage place that is Rocamadour (lift ascension included). The village is a succession of houses and chapels built in superposition on the hill sides. You can enjoy the beauty of Saint-Sauveur basilica or the crypt of Saint Amadour, both protected by UNESCO Heritage. The miraculous chapel holding the Black Virgin is the object of devotion for more than one millennium.

Day2 Rocamadour

Day 3 Vallée de la Dordogne-Truffes-Les Eyzies de Tayac

Drive to Les Eyzies de Tayac considered as the prehistoric capital. Guided visit of Grotto Font de Gaume, with more than 200 polychrome animal drawings or carvings and stop in the village.
Drive to a truffle farm for a truffle hunting with dogs (depending of the season) and tasting.
End the afternoon driving along the Dordogne valley, which provides everyone with a colorful heritage richly charged in memories…
Châteaux and manor houses, genuine gardens or villages are dotted along this circuit following the Dordogne. Stop in the village of Beynac et Cazenac
Accommodation in Sarlat la caneda city center.

In the morning, discover Sarlat, the gastronomic Perigord capital.
Lunch on your own.
Departure – Transfer to Toulouse train station or airport.
