Day 1 Around the Ponds of Bages and Peyriac de Mer

In the morning, meet your guide and start the day by the visit of the villages of Bages and Peyriac de mer.  They are lovely and charming places to enjoy a relaxing walking tour.
Built up on the banks of ponds, those two villages are a place to live a quite life. It used to be the summer resorts and residences of the wealthy roman society of Narbonne. Bages is still a peaceful fishermen village and Peyriac de mer mostly evolves and live in between the wine production, hiking and strolling around the pools and ponds, and the salt culture.

Lunch :  Lunch in a panoramic restaurant.

In the afternoon, you may choose in between the two next options :
- Guided visit of St Martin Island Salt marshes near Gruissan (depending the season). There, discover also a protected natural area and the white gold: the salt.

- Or, in Portel des Corbieres, guided tour of Terra Vinea where, at 80 meters underground, the winegrowers of the Rocbere vintage raise their best wines in oak barrels.
