Day 1 Montpellier

Arrival to Montpellier in the late morning. Lunch in a typical local restaurant of the city centre.

In the early afternoon, guided visit of the city center, discover the private mansions, the medieval streets and the famous school of Medicine.

Accommodation in a 3-star hotel. Dinner and night.

Gourmet day: in the morning, leave your hotel to reach the city of Sete. Panoramic tour in the port and drive up to the Mont St Clair. Discover an overlook over the city, the Mediterranean Sea and the Thau lagoon.

Visit the covered market and enjoy a typical lunch in the city centre.

Afternoon, cruise on the Thau salt water lagoon to discover the Bouzigues oyster’s farms. Before leaving the place, taste the Frontignan sweet muscat wine, and then drive back to Montpellier.

Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Pick up an option

Option 1:
The morning is dedicated to discovering St Guilhem le desert, a very important stop on the pilgrimage path toward Santiago de Compostella.
A guided visit will lead you to the Abbey of Gellone.
Enjoy a wine tasting in a wine cellar nearby. Lunch.

Option 2:
Departure to Aigues-Mortes. Enjoy a panoramic view along the coast on the way. In Aigues-Mortes, walking guided tour of the fortified city: the Constance’s tower, Notre Dame des Sablons Church, the city walls…
