Day 1 Arrival to Bordeaux

Meeting in Bordeaux and transfer by minibus with private driver to the barge. After being welcomed with champagne, you will have time for a walk before your first dinner and night on board.

Let's firstly sail on the Garonne canal towards the port of Meilhan-sur-Garonne. In the afternoon, we visit the medieval city of Saint Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the center of the most famous Bordeaux wine appellation. Later, we stop at Château Beau-Sejour-Becot, producer of Premier and Grand Cru wines, where you will discover the secrets of the vine and, of course, enjoy a wine tasting.
Dinner and night on board. 

Day2 Monday -Castet-en-Dorthe to Meilhan-sur-Garonne

Day 3 Tuesday - Meilhan-sur-Garonne to Le Mas d’Agenais

Today cruise to the charming village Le Mas d'Agenais. Take time to cycle or walk along the towpath and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside. In the afternoon,discover Château de Duras, an architectural marvel, with 900 years of history. We will visit its 35 rooms and the Museum before returning to the hotel barge.
Dinner and night on board. 

Leave early to enjoy the colorful market of Marmande and the church Notre-Dame with its French garden and Renaissance cloisters. 
Cruise to Damazan, a fortified village with pastel colored houses, then to the pretty village of Mas Agenais. Its 11th century church has a beautiful Romanesque portal and an original masterpiece by Rembrandt. Afterwards, we go to a cheese workshop where you can see the different stages of production and enjoy a tasting of goat's cheeses, some of which are flavoured with ashes or chilli pepper.

Day4 Wednesday- Le Mas d’Agenais to Buzet-sur-Baise

Day 5 Thursday- Buzet-sur-Baise to Serignac-sur-Garonne

In the morning, we visit the traditional cooperage of Saint-Martin, where we discover the secrets of making the barrels in which the great wines of Bordeaux are aged. Then, we head to the 13th century bastide town of Vianne et Barbaste.
The afternoon is devoted to relaxing on your hotel barge while sailing on the canal. 
Dinner and night on board.

Start the day with a visit of the medieval city of Nerac in the footsteps of King Henry IV and Queen Margot. Then stop in Lapeyrade for a visit of the cellar of Armagnac, the oldest alcohol in France. In the afternoon, cruise to our final destination of Boé, crossing the Canal d'Agen bridge, one of the longest aqueducts in France spanning the Garonne.
Farewell dinner of the captain and night on board.

Day6 Friday - Serignac-sur-Garonne to Boé

Day 7 Transfer to Bordeaux

After breakfast, you will be transferred by minibus with private driver to Bordeaux for your post tour.
Accommodation in Downtown Bordeaux.

You meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel for a day tour to discover Bordeaux.

Day 9 Private day tour to Arcachon

Gourmet day along the Bassin d'Arcachon. First climb the Dune du Pilat to enjoy the most wonderful view of the region on the highest dune in Europe. Then road to Arcachon and discover our gastronomic specialties during lunch: oysters, fish... Spend the afternoon on a private boat for a cruise on the basin of Arcachon during which you can discover the bird island and the traditional houses built on stilts,

Day at leisure in Bordeaux before being transferred to Bordeaux Airport or station.
