Day 1 Arrival in Bordeaux

Arrival in Bordeaux in the early afternoon and welcome by your private guide for a visit of the heart of the city of Bordeaux and the quays, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Accommodation in a charming 3* hotel in the Bordeaux area, surrounded with vineyards.

Day dedicated to the wines that have made the reputation of Bordeaux and its region.
Visit of a St Emilion chateau: get closer to the vineyards to discover the origin of the wine, go through the vinification cellar to understand the stages of vinification, then go to the heart of the barrel cellar. Wine tasting with chocolate.
Picnic in the vineyard.
Visit of the village of St Emilion: Tertre, cloister, city gate, fortifications and underground monuments have so many things to tell you.

Day 3 Day tour to Arcachon

Drive to the Dune du Pilat. Mainly known for its exceptional dimensions, the Dune du Pilat is also famous for the beauty and diversity of its natural environment. Climb the stairs to the top of the dune to enjoy spectacular views.
Drive to Arcachon .Visit of the winter district in Arcachon, one of the most original groups of villas from the 19th and early 20th centuries, of the port which perpetuates an artisanal fishing and oyster farming activity. 

Drive to Blaye and visit the fortress through the underground passages. Visit of the cellars and the cooperage workshop, exhibition of old cooper's tools and educational tour on the elaboration of the barrels and the influence of the maturation in barrels, tasting of 3 wines
On your way back, take the Corniche road. This picturesque road is also known as the corniche fleurie or the route des capitaines. You will be able to admire beautiful houses built by former sailors. This 13km route is punctuated by stops with explanatory panels named windows on the estuary: the tidal bore, the islands, the fish, the wrecks.

Day 5 Day tour to Sauternes vineyards

Road to Bazas. Relive the history of a two-thousand-year-old city, which was, as the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist testifies, the seat of an imposing diocese. Bazas still has part of its fortifications of which the Gisquet gate remains the most remarkable work. Around its arcaded square, the House of the Astronomer, the Presidial, the Market and the old Town Hall are the notable monuments that reflect the new development known since the beginning of the modern era. 
Drive to an estate near the village and visit followed by a tasting of Sauternes wines. Visit of the village of Sauternes in the afternoon.

Road to Cap Ferret and visit of the different districts on foot passing by the lighthouse, the blockhouse, the most beautiful beaches....
Free lunch in Lège Cap Ferret.
Then boarding on the boat for the visit of the basin of Arcachon by way of the Bird Island and the cabanes Tchanquées.

Day 7 Bassins de lumieres and back

Enjoy an extraordinary visual and sound perspective as you cross the footbridges above the basins to the gigantic docks. The projection of immersive digital exhibits on the 12-meter-high walls, as well as their reflection in the water, punctuated by a musical creation, allow you to discover in a different way the universe of the great names of art history.
