Day 1 Avignon

In the afternoon, meet your guide and discover the city of Avignon, a Mecca of culture, theater and Provencal gastronomy.
First, visit the largest gothic palace in Europe, the Palais des Papes, then sing the famous nursery rhyme while visiting the popular Pont d'Avignon. This bridge was for a long time the only way to connect the two banks of the Rhône river.

Discover the Carrières de Lumières in Les Baux de Provence, which hosts each year an immersive digital exhibition dedicated to a great name in Art History.
Take advantage of the afternoon to discover the Baux de Provence according to your available time.

Day 3 Pont du Gard-Nimes-Carcassonne

In the morning, discover the Rhone Valley wines of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation by visiting a traditional cellar. 
Then drive to the Pont du Gard. Discover this fabulous Roman aqueduct during a canoe trip.
Night in Avignon

Departure to the Mediterranean Sea. Stroll through a village between pond and sea and discover the salt production. In the afternoon, visit the abbey of Fontfroide and its gardens. Drive to Carcassonne and accommodation in the city center.

Day 5 Carcassonne and Vineyards

In the morning, visit of the medieval city and in particular the castle.
In the afternoon, discovery of the principles of wine tasting thanks to an oenological workshop. You will then explore the French-style gardens, classified as remarkable gardens. Night in Carcassonne, at the foot of the medieval city.

In the morning, discover the markets and the gastronomy of Toulouse.
Optional: cooking or pastry classes. 
Then your guide will take you on a guided tour of the city: the famous quays of the Garonne River, the lively streets of the heart of the city, the Capitole and of course the Basilica of St. Sernin, the largest Roman building in Europe.
Night in Toulouse in the heart of the city.

Day6 Toulouse

Day 7 City Bike tour and departure

In the morning, bike ride in Toulouse along the quays and the Canal du Midi, a Unesco heritage site.
