Day 1 Arrival in Calvi

Arrival in the afternoon in Calvi and check-in in your 3* hotel in the heart of the city, by the sea.

Road to Ile Rousse: discovery of the narrow streets around the covered market, real center of the city, this district made of small shopping streets allows you to walk between the beaches, the Paoli square and the port. And of course, you must go to the covered market of the city in the morning to discover all the regional products. Discovery of the peninsula of Pietra : This red granite promontory offers a superb view of the city and the whole region. Free lunch.
On the way back, stop at Curbara. Located in the heart of the Balagne region, it exhibits the splendor of a typically Mediterranean village, built on the hillside. Its amphitheatrical districts are home to paved streets with covered passages and superb houses with high facades.

Departure from the hotel at the beginning of the morning for Corte, where you will take a leap in the past. At the bend of the narrow streets, you will follow the traces of those who shaped the history of the island, like Gaffory or Pascal Paoli, and you will impregnate yourself with the culture of a whole people, its identity, its history. By visiting the eternal citadel, solidly camped on a rocky peak, you will discover a prestigious panorama. During the day, a visit of Corte in small train will be proposed to you as well as the visit of the Museum of Corsica.

Day 5 Travel to Ajaccio

From Calvi, road to Porto, panoramic road in the interior of the valleys or overhanging the sea, offering exceptional viewpoints from the "Col de Palmarella" then especially after the "Col de la Croix".
Discovery of the city of Porto.
Then discovery of the "magic world" of the Calanches of Piana and Porto. Cruise through this site classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. On the way to Ajaccio, you will discover the panoramic point of the Col de San Bastiano, dominating the Gulf of Sagone. The ascent continues by the Sevi pass, where you can enjoy an exceptional view of the Vico Valley up to the Gulf of Porto.

With your private guide, you will discover on foot the old town of Ajaccio, its narrow streets, its Genoese citadel, the cathedral where Napoleon was baptized. You will also pass in front of his birth house, and of course, in front of the town hall near the fishing port and its famous "Place des Palmiers". A visit to the Napoleon Museum will allow you to discover the life of this famous native.
Then drive to the Sanguinaires Islands. Walk to discover the site (easy).

Day 7 Day tour to Bonifacio

Head to the south!
After the "Lion" of Roccapina, you will almost reach the end of the world: Bonifacio, a timeless city, built on a 80m high limestone table. Its imposing citadel dominating the sea and its navy carved in the rock will amaze you. Discover the garden of landscapes with 10 breathtaking views.
Back to Ajaccio in the late afternoon. 

Road to Sartene in the morning: The old bridge is the gateway to the city. Admire the fortifications of the city: the ramparts, the corner tower and the watchtower. The Porta square (city agora) is a place for meetings, walks and festivities. You will walk through this maze of old houses clinging to the hill, cobbled streets ending in stairs and shady squares.
Visit of a Corsican ewe breeding farm. Production of Brocciu, Corsican cheese.
Back to Ajaccio at the end of the afternoon.

Day 9 Gourmet and Traditions day tour

Road to the Cosica mountains and to the small village of Zevaco, where a passionate person will be waiting for you to share his love for his native land and the process of making honey.
You will then have the pleasure of savoring a "spuntinu", a local snack, in a nearby inn, during which you will be able to taste charcuterie, cheese and dessert, everything that makes the salt of Corsican gastronomy.
Discover the manufacture of cold meat and chestnut flour.
Back to Ajaccio at the end of the afternoon.
