Day 1 Montpellier

Arrival to Montpellier in the morning. Lunch in a restaurant of the city centre. In the early afternoon, walking guided tour of the city.

Discover the private mansions courtyards, medieval streets and the famous university of Medicine.

Accommodation in a 3-star hotel near the city centre. Dinner and night.

Drive to the Art & Craft town of Pezenas that used to be an important medieval place for fairs in the Languedoc.
Discover charming private mansions symbolizing the town’s prestigious past. Enjoy the markets on Saturday morning.

Have lunch in the town center before driving to the Mediterranean coast: walk on the port, on sandy beaches, just relax or do a boat excursion…

Drive back to Montpellier for dinner and night.

Day2 Pezenas – Le Cap d’Agde

Day 3 Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert

Visit St Guilhem le desert village. First stop and discover the Devil’s bridge above the Herault gorges then reach the village and visit the Gellone abbey, built during the 8th century under the command of Guilhem of Orange.
It is one of the best examples of Romanesque monuments in Languedoc.

After lunch, enjoy a ride in canoe in the Gorges de l’Herault. Choose your itinerary among two: One is 2.5 miles long or the second 7.2 miles long. To end your day, enjoy a wine tasting into a wine cellar.

Drive back to Montpellier for dinner and night.

Today discover the wild Camargue. Spend the morning in a traditional Provencal farm, the so-called “Manade”. You will learn everything about Camargue bulls and white horses but also local “guardians” traditions.
The farmer will explain you the traditional work around the cattle, the traditional Camargue games and the particularity of the regional landscape.

The lunch will take place in the farm where you will enjoy a regional meal. End of the tour after lunch.
