Day 1 Thau Lagoon region - Pezenas

In the morning: discover the Thau lagoon and the oysters’ farms. Later, enjoy a Picpoul de Pinet wine tasting, a white wine from a noble vine variety: the Piquepoule.

Lunch in Vinopolis, an oenotouristic restaurant in Florensac village.

In the afternoon, visit Cassan abbey-castle in Roujan. First a humble place for the monastic retreat, it became a powerful royal priory to finish as a sumptuous princely house. There start by a visit and end the tour by a wine tasting.

Accommodation and dinner.

In the morning, visit the village of St Guilhem le desert classified as one of the “Most beautiful villages in France”.
There discover the Gellone abbey a piece of the Romanesque Art classified at the Unesco world heritage. Walking through the medieval streets, meet local handcraft men in their little shops.

Lunch in St Guilhem.

In the afternoon, discover the vineyards of Aniane, which were first grown up by the monks of a prestigious abbey. Conclude the visit by a wine tasting.

Drive back to your hotel for dinner and night.

Day2 The Herault Valley

Day 3 Faugeres – Saint Chinian

During this day inside the vineyards, enjoy three wine tasting, discover a soil, its local area and meet passionate vine-growers at the north and west regions of Beziers, limestone and schist quality of the ground and soil guarantee to the wine an AOP designation.
So, taste two of those AOP wines: Faugeres and St Chinian.

Accommodation and dinner.

In the morning visit the Cathar city of Minerve, one of the “Most beautiful villages in France”. There, discover its canyons and natural bridges.
Then taste the wines from the « cru de Minerve » in a wine cellar inside the village.

Have lunch in the village.

Visit the wine cellar at St Jean de Minervois to discover the famous Muscat, a sophisticated and elegant wine with lemongrass, apricot, quince, mandarin and cherry flavours.
A last stop is planned at the "Vinauberge" where you will find a great assortment of regional wines from Languedoc Roussillon.
