Day 1 Albi

Morning: Meet your guide in the city and discover the old Albi, the St Salvy cloister, then narrow, winding streets with many private mansions...
Guided tour of the St. Cecilia Cathedral, offering a stunning contrast between the external rigor of its defensive architecture and the inner richness of a sumptuous decoration. Continuation of the visit in the Castelvieil district, the origin of Albi, maintaining medieval timber-framed houses.

Lunch in a restaurant in the heart of city.

Afternoon: Guided tour of the Palace of Berbie, former Episcopal palace where the Toulouse Lautrec museum is established.
You will discover both the historical rooms of the palaceand the collections of drawings, paintings, and posters of the famous painter.
Enjoy a stroll in the landscaped and formal gardens of the palace.

Our advice: During the summer, cruising on the Tarn river allows great views on the city. Do not forget to go through the covered market, to discover local products !
