Day 1 Albi and Cordes sur Ciel

In the morning, meet your local guide to visit the charming city of Albi.
From the Vigan square that used to be the gate to the city, walk through the lovely streets of Albi.
A maze-like cobbled streets net would let you admire the façades of medieval houses and private mansions that were built during the golden age of the pastel tissue dyeing industry.
The bricks give to the town a particular and nice atmosphere. Follow the visit with the Castel Vielh district, the former Albi city centre. It would be the occasion of visiting the massive, impressive and gorgeous Ste Cécile Cathedral.

Lunch:  Stop for in front of the Cathedral.

In the afternoon, leave Albi and drive toward the gorgeous village of Cordes sur Ciel. This medieval city of the 13th century was troubled by the Crusade against the Cathars. Nowadays, the city quietly overlooks the Cérou valley.
Follow your guide through the streets of this charming village and admire the façades of medieval houses and private mansions, sculptures and after the walking tour, enjoy some free time to discover the art and craft shops. 

Option: tourist train to reach the top of the village.
