Day 1 Montpellier, ancient and modern city

In the morning, meet your local guide near the city of Montpellier town hall, designed by Jean Nouvel and François Fontès and discover the neighborhoods of Port Marianne and Antigone.
Panoramic tour by bus near the Jacques heart basin, the reflecting pool,  architecture futuristic RBC Design Center or even the Lycée hôtelier. Walking guided tour in the District of Antigone, designed by Ricardo Bofill, to reach the Musée Fabre. Guided tour of the permanent collections.

Lunch:  Stop for lunch in the historical heart of Montpellier, the so-called “ coat of arms”. 

In the afternoon, guided walking tour through the historical center of Montpellier, the Comédie square and Triumphal Arch. You'll discover narrow medieval streets and squares, private mansions of the 17 and 18th centuries.
The medical tradition of the city will be evoked through the city as well as during the visit of the pharmacy of Mercy. 

Optional : Discover the historical centre onboard a tourist train or following a theme such as medieval period and pilgrimages in Montpellier, the medicine including the visit of the faculty...
