The Larzac is a famous region of Southern France, known for its wild life and beautiful Landscapes. There is also little villages and sites as the fortified templar Village of La Couvertoirade.

Day 1 The Templars knights in the Larzac and St Guilhem

In the morning, meet your local guide and drive toward La Couvertoirade, a beautiful fortified Village lost on the Larzac  plateau. Here is the occasion of stolling and exploring one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Walk through the medieval cobbled streets and your guide would tell you why and how the Templars Knghts decided to build a commandry in this place.  Discover the former way of life before enjoying some free time.
Then drive in direction of Navacelles, a natural  geological site, nowadays part of the Unesco natural Heritage.

Lunch :  Enjoy a regional lunch facing the natural cirque. 

In the afternoon, cross the Devil’s bridge to reach St Guilhem le Desert. Let you guide tell you how Guilhem trick the demon and then cross the bridge.
Visit then St Guilhem le Desert, a medieval village that used to be an important stop for pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostella. Let you charm by the medieval streets and its art and craft shops.
Your guide will lead you to the sumptuous Gellone abbey, founded in the 8th century by William of Orange. This beautiful jewel of Romanesque style architecture would reveal you it’s secrets.
